She is Mizuki Yukikaze's childhood friend and something of an older sister to her. Akiyama Tatsuro is her younger brother. She wields the tachi and is a master of the sword style "Itsutō-ryū," a tradition passed down through generations of ninjas. Feared as the "Demon-slaying Taimanin," she is a skilled and beautiful swordswoman. Her hobby is caring for her sister and brother, and she showers them with overwhelming kindness and affection—though this sweet side is shown only to them. At the academy she is regarded as a strong, beautiful, and strict senior. She shows no interest in the countless suitors pursuing her, preferring to dote on her siblings instead. Among the female students she enjoys immense popularity, and a secret "Lady Rinko fan club" has begun to spread widely. She is constantly by Mizuki Yukikaze's side, devotedly supporting her.
