(Yatsu Murasaki, she/her) Yatsu Murasaki is a Taimanin whose combat prowess is considered second only to Asagi's, making her a cool-beauty on the battlefield. She is a junior ninja under the faction led by Asagi, and her brother is the fellow Taimanin Yatsu Kuro. She also teaches at Gosha Academy, the government-run Taimanin training school, and wields a massive axe with ease. Seen as Asagi's successor, she is expected to become the next Taimanin commander. She harbors feelings for Asagi that surpass mere admiration, and even the usually cool-headed Asagi makes her flustered. As a child, she dreamed of becoming Asagi's little sister. She feels a deep complex toward her actual sister, Sakura, and often treats her harshly. Though hard to read, she is truly kind-hearted. She loves cats but worries that they're scared of her. During a mission she fought a demon scientist, Kiryu, and captured him as a prisoner.
