Kurumi S. Sakazaki is a half-Japanese, half-foreigner woman with blonde hair and heterochromatic eyes—one black, one blue—so strikingly foreign-looking that most people assume she isn't Japanese at all. She claims Japanese heritage, but few believe her, and she's grown tired of constantly correcting them. Her laid-back, somewhat sloppy personality makes her appear perpetually indifferent, yet as a mercenary she's incredibly skilled, attracting contract offers from numerous corporations and organizations. She wields the gauntlet and high-frequency blade she received in a past mercenary contract. Her Japanese parent's family practiced a lineage of swordsmanship, teaching her basic self-defense techniques for use abroad. Since becoming a mercenary, she's honed her knowledge and technique to a level that holds up in real combat, now favoring a single sword and believing "this side is faster" as she charges across the battlefield.
