(Gran, she/her) She is a female warrior of a demon race known as golems—beings that possess both inorganic and organic bodies. Gran belongs to the "Stone Golem" subtype, characterized by a rocky physique. Together with her childhood friend Yomi Akitsu, she travels across the Demon Realm and Human Realm to fulfill a certain goal. She is taciturn, as silent as a stone, though she can converse with Yomi; to outsiders, their dialogue appears one-sided, as if Yomi is doing all the talking. Gran harbors feelings for Yomi that go beyond friendship, though she doesn't recognize them as romantic—she simply loves Yomi intensely and will crush anyone who harms her. Her blue-toned flesh is a supple organic tissue akin to human skin, while her limbs are covered in the sturdy rock typical of stone golems. The rocky parts regenerate quickly, restoring themselves within days after being shattered. Crystalline sections scattered across her body function like a human heart, the source of her life; these crystals are extremely hard and valuable, making them frequent targets. Of course, golems possess combat power capable of taking on a thousand foes, so they are not easily hunted.
