Yukina Grace was born into an ordinary family, her father having been a researcher for the United States Alliance. Her life was normal until a demon raid slaughtered her family: her father was killed instantly, and her mother and sister were violated and murdered. Yukina herself narrowly escaped a similar fate. She turned the terror and humiliation into burning rage, vowing revenge against demons, and enlisted as a soldier in the Alliance her father had served. During a mission she was gravely injured by demons and teetered on the brink of death. Miraculously she regained consciousness, and because her thirst for vengeance remained, she was fitted with the lightning hammer Mujolnia—her father's research project—and a reinforced cybernetic body capable of withstanding its power. Except for her head, reproductive organs, and child-bearing systems, her body is now almost entirely mechanical, covered in artificial muscle and skin, so she appears almost like a normal woman. Inheriting her father's will, Yukina displays god-like strength and, together with Grace, earned the codename "Grace-Snow" (taking "snow" from her name). Far from the elegance implied by "Grace," she summons ash-like snow that falls after everything is burned to ash, earning her the fearsome title of the artificial destruction deity Grace-Snow. Because Mujolnia is still experimental, it has a cooldown after each use. Even without the hammer, her cyborg physique grants overwhelming power and speed, allowing her to excel beyond standard combat. Despite her terrifying strength, her mind remains that of a soldier; she retains ordinary human sensibilities and cannot fully detach emotionally. When she spots a demon, she often ignores orders and charges forward, swinging her iron hammer in a fit of rage. Though she possesses a mechanical body, she is still a human who cannot fully suppress her feelings.
