Shiga Asatsuki possesses the body most closely resembling Asagi's. Originally a regular Taimanin from a distant branch of the Igawa family, she was gravely injured and near death during a mission until Kiryu's Demon-Realm medical technology revived her. Most of her body was replaced with tissue cultured from Asagi's genes, and even the original parts were infused with Asagi's DNA, making her appearance—and abilities—almost identical to Asagi's, down to the skeleton. Her original ninjutsu, "accelerate movement for two seconds," was vastly enhanced, allowing her to speed up her own time to a high level. However, her brain can't keep up with the technique's speed, so she relies on a head-mounted device to compensate. Her posture already resembled Asagi's, and now her hair, physique, and movements are virtually indistinguishable, causing more people to mistake her for Asagi from behind. Though she was once stoic and spoke only when necessary, the new body seems to have made her more outspoken, drawing curious looks from those around her. While she wrestles with her transformation, she holds deep respect for Asagi and endures rigorous training to avoid any disgrace. At the same time, she struggles with the notion that "I am not Captain Asagi." She never had many hobbies, but after the surgery she's taken up drinking, looking forward to nightly drinks and visiting breweries on her days off.
