Kise Hotaru is a Taimanin enrolled at Gosha Academy. She has a bright, caring personality and a polite demeanor, which naturally draws people to her. Because of her unique abilities and their versatility, she is sometimes selected for combat missions. However, she is still inexperienced and cannot handle missions alone, so she trains in secret. Although she truly dislikes conflict, she cannot tolerate those who misuse demons or Demon Realm technology, and she fulfills her duties. She admires Yatsu Murasaki and, whenever she has free time after classes, receives extra training from her. Inspired by Yatsu Murasaki, she also began wielding a battle axe. The weapon's massive destructive power meshes well with her abilities, so she continues to use it, though its bulk makes transportation difficult.
