Tenka is a two-tailed yokai spirit, originally a fragment of the legendary nine-tailed fox. Long ago the original nine-tailed fox was slain, becoming a killing stone that spread calamity. A monk later shattered the stone, scattering shards worldwide. One shard, after ages, gained power and transformed into Tenka. Because she was born from a fragment, she has only two tails and far less power than the original. She retains a childlike, somewhat immature personality, yet she inherits the fox's nature—she enjoys leading men astray and corrupting them. When she corrupts a powerful individual, she also injects toxin from the killing-stone fragment at her core, turning the victim into a madman for her amusement.
