Merriam is one of the witches who dwells in the Demon Realm. Though she once possessed overwhelming magical power, the Taimanin managed to hunt her down, allowing her to escape death by a hair's breadth. However, the Taimanin sealed her immense magic, causing her body to become childlike, and she has lived in that youthful form for decades. Even sealed, she still wields the kind of magic that ordinary demons could easily eradicate. Her main attack involves infusing her familiars with magic and launching them at foes. Her personality has regressed to that of a child, yet she speaks with an arrogant tone. She longs to regain her original body, but, unsure where her sealed power is hidden, she has grown somewhat resigned. Using the Nomad organization's resources, she plans to reclaim her magic and true form. Because revealing her real name would make her a target for her own kind and other Demon Realm races, she now goes by an alias. Her familiars are named Kuro & Shiro.
