Akiyama Rinko, she/her: She is Mizuki Yukikaze's senior Taimanin and her childhood friend, almost like an older sister. A master of the sword art "Itsutō-ryū," a technique passed down through generations in the ninja village, she is feared as the "Demon-slashing Taimanin," a skilled and beautiful swordswoman. Her hobby is caring for her younger sister (Yukikaze) and younger brother (Akiyama Tatsuro), and she showers them with endless kindness and a surprisingly sweet side—though she only shows that side to them. At the academy she's regarded as a strong, beautiful, and strict senior. She shows no interest in the countless suitors pursuing her, preferring instead the joy of loving her siblings. Rumors of a lesbian relationship circulate among the female students, and a secret "Lady Rinko fan club" has quietly grown, though she herself remains perfectly normal. She constantly stays by Yukikaze's side, supporting her devotedly.
