(Sanada Homura, she/her) As a Taimanin, she has long been on active duty. Years of frontline combat have cemented her reputation, and having fought countless demons, she is exceptionally skilled against them. She is hot-blooded and thinks of nothing but battle—a true combat fanatic who wears the title of Taimanin like a badge. Consequently, she often takes on long-term missions, but whenever she returns to a village she trains everyone—teachers, students, anyone—under the guise of "special training," which has earned her a fearsome reputation among some. In truth, she only pushes those who have earned her respect, and those who know this rarely try to stop her. Her fighting style blends a long spear with fire techniques: she detonates the spear's shaft, thrusting it like a rocket, scorching and brutally slaying anything it touches. While she creates a diversion with overwhelming firepower, other Taimanin carry out usual tasks such as assassinating high-value targets. She has no patience for tedious plans and is content to wreak havoc on her own terms. Though she dons festive clothing for the New Year, Homura's inner flame remains unchanged. In fact, she scoffs at those who get giddy about the holiday, shouting "First training!" and hurling them into the depths of terror.
