Inhuman Oryou is a demon who once served as a gang executive after her faction seized control of the Nakano-shima district of Amida-hara, a region formerly ruled by sorcerers. Though she hails from a noble demon lineage, she was born as an "Iko"—a child of an aberrant form considered an omen, believed to be spawned by ancient, dimension-transcending gods. Because of this, she was raised by tenant farmers on her family's lands. Persecuted as an Iko, Oryou eventually left her homeland for the Human Realm and joined the Nakano-shima gang, which treats all comrades as equals regardless of race or origin. She quickly rose to prominence, becoming captain of the 3rd Squad. Her weapon of choice is a metal bat forged from the rare demonic alloy orichalcum. She normally appears indistinguishable from a human girl, but when she transforms into her true "aberrant" form, she gains terrifying physical abilities. Oryou harbors a deep complex about that form and will not shift into it unless absolutely necessary.
