Metier was raised in the Demon Realm and, like Lilim and Mireille, is a succubus. Unlike Lilim, she is a diligent worker. Mireille also acknowledges Metier, and the two get along well. Men who fall under her gaze inevitably wither and die, utterly captivated by her. She is in such demand that contracts pour in from both the Demon Realm and the Human Realm. This time, Mireille asked her to locate Lilim while on a Human Realm mission, to make sure Lilim is doing her job properly. Mireille and Lilim have a cat-and-dog relationship; Mireille disapproves of Lilim's free-spirited lifestyle, while Metier tries to persuade her that Lilim's charm lies in that very freedom, only to be rebuked for shielding Lilim too gently.
