Kaibara Nao is a wood-style Taimanin who blends her own anti-demon particles with seeds to create and control unknown plants. Her physical abilities are slightly below average for a Taimanin, but she excels in rear-line support and diversion. Some, like Kiryu, teasingly call her "Kaiware," a nickname she constantly corrects but never gets accepted. While she dislikes having her name mispronounced, close comrades such as Sakura affectionately call her "Kaiware-chan," which she finds both flattering and embarrassing, promptly correcting them with a playful retort. Junior Taimanin also refer to her behind the scenes as "Kaiware-senpai." Her birthday is September 18th, celebrated as "Radish Day." She started a hobby garden that expanded into a profitable vegetable business, using the earnings to enlarge her farm. Alongside edible crops, she cultivates fierce, dangerous plants for her ninja techniques. She is straightforward and tends to trust others' words immediately, sometimes leading to misunderstandings and trouble.
