Ootori Shuka is a student Taimanin at Gosha Academy. She trains among strong peers such as Asagi and Mizuki Yukikaze. She possesses the evil eye "Sakimōgan" in her left eye. This precognitive eye lets her anticipate opponents' actions. When defending, attacks coming at her appear three-dimensional, allowing precise blocks or dodges. When on the offensive, she sees a vision of an effective attack and can replicate it, striking efficiently. However, following the vision demands great physical ability, so against superior foes she mainly uses the eye for defense. She can deactivate the ability by closing her left eye. Despite this unique power, she trains relentlessly to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with other Taimanin and surpass them. She is serious and has little interest in play; excelling as a Taimanin is her life's goal. Consequently, she is very naïve when it comes to romance.
