Akiyama Rinko is a senior at Gosha Academy and a Taimanin. She is Mizuki Yukikaze's childhood friend and serves as an older-sister figure to her. Rinko has mastered the hereditary sword style "Itsutō-ryū" passed down through generations of ninja villages, earning her the fearsome title "Demon-slaying Taimanin," a skilled and beautiful swordswoman. She enjoys caring for her younger sister (Yukikaze) and younger brother (Akiyama Tatsuro), showing them boundless kindness and a gentle, indulgent side that she reserves only for them; at the academy she is regarded as a strong, beautiful, and strict senior. She shows no interest in the countless suitors vying for her affection, preferring to dote on her siblings. Rumors of a lesbian inclination circulate among the female students, and a secret "Lady Rinko fan club" has quietly flourished, though she herself remains perfectly normal. She is constantly by Yukikaze's side, devotedly supporting her in every way.
