Lilith the First is the legendary Grand Witch Lilith, feared by every resident of the Demon Realm—so much so that people steer clear for hundreds of kilometers. She is Lilith's granddaughter. As a high-ranking demon with a lifespan of tens of thousands of years, she's known as the "Black Serpent Witch." Inheriting her grandmother's name, she became the second-generation Lilith and descended to the Human Realm for warrior training. Though still inexperienced enough to flee from a pack of orcs on her own, her talent is unrivaled in the Demon Realm, and her hidden ambitions are unmatched, matched only by her carefree personality. She is accompanied by her familiar—a white female dog named Berylic—who has served the family since her grandmother's era. In truth, Berylic is an ancient dragon famed for slaying gods, but Lilith firmly believes the creature is merely a long-lived white dog capable of taking human form. Early in the new year, someone supplied her with a shrine maiden outfit, and thus the self-proclaimed "New-Year's Witch" was born. According to her, she radiates the New Year's energy from every inch of her body. The sanctity and invigorating feeling of the costume seem to temper even Lilith's wild nature, making her a little more poised.
