Fuuma Yukiharu is the daughter of a clan driven from their village after losing a Taimanin war. Her parents fled with her, only to be hunted down and killed by the Igawa clan, leaving her as the sole survivor. The trauma awakened her ability to enchant anyone she makes eye contact with, turning them into a pawn for a few minutes. Her parents possessed the same power, but hers is far stronger. When Taimanin came to exterminate her, she surpassed their expectations, charming them, forcing one to commit suicide and convincing the other that the mission was a success before escaping. Since then she's hidden her true name, operating in the shadows as an information broker and assassin, famed as "Snow's Demon Courtesan." Her eye ability activates constantly regardless of her will, so she usually covers them with an eye mask. She's mastered dual-blade short-sword fighting through self-study and now makes a living gathering intel and carrying out assassinations.
