Atagawa Rumi is a student Taimanin who wields a ninja art that manipulates super-hot steam. She inherited water-style techniques from her mother, and it's rumored her father's fire-style abilities enable her to generate such high temperatures. She fires high-pressure water streams generated by steam pressure from a special water gun, making her a promising frontline attacker at Gosha Academy. Her personality is bright and optimistic; she's a bit childlike but works tirelessly day and night to fulfill her duties as a Taimanin. However, she's extremely shy and suffers from stage fright, so she dislikes being the center of attention or receiving praise. When her nerves or embarrassment spike, she involuntarily erupts steam from her head—a trait she loathes, though friends call her "cute," keeping her reputation solid.
