Yufie and Sofie are humanoid weapons created using United States and Demon Realm technology. They are twin sisters born from a single cloned egg that incorporated genes from various races; the elder is Yufie and the younger is Sofie. Among their mixed genes, oni traits are the most pronounced, and they also possess vampire abilities. For a time they served the United States, but once their intelligence matured they abandoned their masters and went on the run. Since then they've survived as bounty hunters, using their earnings to acquire several hideouts. The United States has tracked them down, yet they are unable to act against the sisters' overwhelming power. Sofie excels in physical attacks and high agility, while Yufie specializes in defense and healing. Though Yufie may seem frail, when she unleashes her power her sealed eyes open, revealing strength, ferocity, and cruelty surpassing even her sister's. While forging a partnership with Fuuma, the duo grew interested in Taimanin and the academy, infiltrating Gosha Academy through forged documents and disguises. They were taken aback by how easily they slipped in, only to discover it was a scheme by Fuuma and Asagi. After being cleverly divided and captured, they received a scolding that made them regret nothing, and the cunning sisters ultimately secured a promise to experience a "one-day Taimanin trial."
