Fuuma Saika once served as Fuuma Danjo's secretary. She hails from a hereditary line of official secretaries who have served the Fuuma family for generations, and she herself carries Fuuma blood. Possessing a cursed eye in her left socket, she can hijack the vision and consciousness of anyone she meets eye-to-eye, a powerful ability that renders her immobile while in use. She formerly swore loyalty to the late Danjo and fought as a Taimanin, but lost both legs in battle against demons. Rescued by Danjo, she escaped with him to the United States, received cybernetic legs via American cyborg technology, and returned to Taimanin service. Upon learning that Danjo was plotting a rebellion, she left his side. Since then she has taken on missions as a Taimanin while serving the Fuuma household after Danjo's death. Stepping back from her secretary duties, she left the assistance of the new head, Fuuma Kotaro, to Tokiko, and now manages Danjo's legacy books and related tasks. Through a friend's introduction, she agreed to model for a wedding; when the production needed a male part-time actor, she approached the cash-strapped Kotaro and invited him to join her.
