Yuri Hisui serves primarily as a frontline combat Taimanin. Outside of missions she appears absent-minded and never stands out in training. Yet when battle begins she leverages her ninjutsu's traits to fight with astonishing tenacity. This stark contrast, combined with her tongue-tongue-clumsy nature, leaves her without close friends, and she usually spends time alone. She isn't antisocial, however, and feels a strong camaraderie; she shows no mercy to anyone who harms her comrades. She leads a very modest life, has no particular hobbies, but makes it a daily routine to play with the wild birds she feeds. One day she learned that a human-trafficking ring in the Dark City was brainwashing women and selling them as "brides." She and Fuuma were assigned to investigate undercover, and Yuri proposed infiltrating the operation herself as a "bride." Fuuma hesitated, fearing the danger, but Yuri's oddly high-spirited enthusiasm pushed the plan forward.
