Loewe Saffrey is an unrivaled battle maniac. She forced herself into the United States Federation, acquired weaponry, and became a soldier of the organization. Since then, she voluntarily joins every fight, annihilating enemies. The Federation struggles to assess her, but they grant her favorable treatment because she supplies real-world combat data and bolsters their forces. She believes that as long as she can fight—and even die on the battlefield—that is her fulfillment. She finds purpose only on the front lines, feeling truly alive by crushing foes who have lost all will to fight. She calls her weapon, the Photon Scythe, a partner, and dashes across battlefields wielding only a scythe and her body, earning the nickname "the mad death god" from others. She can only be satisfied by the madness, pleasure, and visceral reality of death; when no battle is present, she sleeps as if dead. She has no hobbies beyond researching killing methods and adjusting her scythe. She was forced to take part in a summer morale event and was half-dragged to the beach. Though she initially intended to refuse, higher-ups strongly ordered her participation because she had spent so much time on duty. At the beach, the female troops made her wear a swimsuit, but she managed to conceal her precious Photon Scythe. Still, she showed no interest in beach games or BBQs, instead seeking out a quiet spot away from the lively soldiers.
