A-66 Luna is a semi-artificial lifeform created to control the United States Federation's latest weapon, Artemis. She is the sixty-sixth unit and the first to be completed. Forty percent of her body is mechanized, while the remaining parts are indistinguishable from a normal human's, even retaining reproductive functions—though she is unaware of this. Possessing high computational ability, she prioritizes Artemis's control and is specialized for combat and its preparation, deliberately suppressing human-like thought and emotion. Consequently, she shows no outward feelings and behaves calmly. She does not realize her emotions are being suppressed and harbors no doubts about existing solely as a tool for battle. True to her purpose, she is a one-woman army on the battlefield, inspiring awe in both allies and enemies. Her developer intended to exploit her abilities for covert reconnaissance, providing a discreet camouflage suit for ordinary disguise. However, this was merely a developer's expectation; in practice, only her weaponized role attracted interest, and the camouflage suit gathered dust in the back of Luna's maintenance cabinet.
