(Fuuma Aki, she/her) A Taimanin bearing the cursed eye "Death Rift" in her right socket, which tears at any wound it sees. When someone looks into that eye while injured, they are overwhelmed by a vivid suggestion, feeling even a minor cut as if their innards were being sliced—a sensation that can turn a superficial wound into a life-threatening one. She hails from a branch family of the Fuuma clan, though she stayed neutral during the Danjo rebellion and avoids clan power struggles. Because of her ability and lineage, other Taimanin tend to keep their distance, but she cares little and focuses solely on slaying demons. Possessing a voluptuous bust and a honed physique, she is sometimes mockingly called a "boob gorilla," a teasing she ignores while occasionally worrying whether her large chest hampers her combat effectiveness. Currently based in Yomihara, she received a request to join the town's summer festival. At first reluctant, she brightens at the prospect of leading a children's portable shrine, dons a happi, sarashi, fundoshi, and a tight headband, and heads to the venue.
