Onisaki Kirara is a Taimanin in her third year at Gosha Academy. She is a half-demon, half-human hybrid: her mother, a high-rank frost demon god, granted her the ability to control cold, while her father's Taimanin blood gave her ninja techniques. However, due to a rift with her father, she has sealed away her ninja abilities, and no one knows what ninjutsu she might use. Unlike ordinary demons, her horns grow sideways—a trait from her mother's side—but she hides them beneath a large ribbon and shaggy twin-tails to mask her lifelong complex of not being fully human. At first glance she appears as a typical beautiful young girl. She regards all men as beasts and generally dislikes them. Inherited from her mother, her cold manipulation is formidable: she can instantly freeze moisture in the air to form ice shields, or strike with frost-clad fists that freeze enemies, making her a close-quarters combat specialist. Her mother was killed by her father when Kirara was still a girl, which sparked the father-daughter conflict.
