She is a demon member of Nomad. In the Demon Realm she lived in a pack with others of her kind, but the easy-going Elena became separated from the pack one day and, while wandering alone, ended up in the Human Realm. She was found cowering in fear in an unfamiliar land and was taken in by Nomad. Though she is now far from her own kind, she feels safe belonging to the large pack-like organization of Nomad. She excels in sleep-related magic, and with her special staff she can not only put opponents to sleep but also control the depth and duration of that sleep at will. Valued for this ability, Nomad employs her as a combat support specialist, though her timid nature means she sometimes runs away when danger looms, which can hinder the fight. In addition to her duties for Nomad, she runs a "Sleep-well" shop in the underground city of Yomihara, using her magic to provide restful sleep. The shop has become a quiet favorite among the dark-town residents who, for various reasons, can't get proper rest. During Valentine's, a regular customer gave her a "chocolate thread that doesn't melt from body heat," a special technique from the Demon Realm, which she used to knit a sweater and scarf. Because it was her first attempt, the sleeves turned out a bit long and the hem short, but she quite likes it.
