She is a former cat who became a fairy kettsie. As a cat, she was taken in by a surly old woman who called her simply "cat" while caring for her. The woman had once been wealthy but lost everything to fraud, grew distrustful of humans, and eventually froze to death on the street while still in debt. The cat seemed destined to die too, but a fairy kettsie hiding in the Human Realm rescued her and brought her to the Demon Realm, where she became a fairy. Having no name and only being called "cat," she adopted the last words the old woman whispered as her name. She spent some time as a kettsie in the Demon Realm but never fit in, so she returned to the Human Realm. Influenced by the old woman, she is also greedy for money, using her charm and demonic powers to extort gold from others. After believing she was badly treated by Fuuma on Valentine's Day, she infiltrated the Gosha village in cat form to enlist Taimanin eggs as her minions, planning to defeat the Taimanin by becoming a Taimanin herself. From her experience as a cat, she thinks it's easy to manipulate people whose hearts are weak.
