She is a Taimanin who hides countless sheets of paper on her body, using them for combat and stealth. Her ability infuses paper with anti-demon particles and natural energy, allowing her to manipulate it at will. The reinforced paper becomes strong enough to withstand the lightning attacks of other Taimanin. Its versatility lets her excel both offensively and defensively, and her exceptional physical prowess in wielding this power impresses many Taimanin. Though she is well-liked, she has a somewhat reserved personality and rarely speaks up on her own. At Gosha Academy, she gets along with Shinohara Mari and Shimizu Kanna, and everyone calls her "Mai-chan" affectionately. She refers to her classmate Mari as "Mari-chan senpai" despite being peers, and calls the truly senior Shimizu Kanna "Kan-chan senpai."
