She is a being created by the US to be as powerful and loyal as the Taimanin, utilizing the technology developed from Yufie & Sofie. Reflecting on the loss of control over Yufie & Sofie, Kaylee was made to be more human-like than demonic. She uses the art of lightning magic with her artificially generated power, but as she grows, this power becomes stronger and starts to paralyze her limbs. Her creators, with the help of Kotani Kenji, the chief senior researcher at the Japanese branch of DSO, replaced her paralyzed limbs with android arms and legs and developed a drug to stabilize her abilities. However, this drug needs to be administered regularly, and there are limits to her ability usage. If she continues to use it, the android arms and legs may break down, and her body may be damaged. The android arms and legs are equipped with machine guns, blades, and missiles, which she uses in combat, and she only uses her lightning magic when necessary. Despite losing her limbs, she lives a carefree life, completing her missions and broadening her knowledge of the world. When she's on vacation with Koukawa Asuka, she's taken on a tour of social studies. She's also developed a fondness for zoos, often visiting them alone.
