Kise Hotaru is a Taimanin enrolled at Gosha Academy. She has a bright, caring personality and a polite demeanor, which naturally draws people to her. Because of her versatile, unique abilities, she is sometimes selected for combat missions. Though she dislikes conflict and is still inexperienced, she cannot tolerate those who misuse demons or Demon Realm technology, and she actively accepts any mission. She admires Yatsu Murasaki, who possessed equal strength to adult Taimanin since school days, and receives extra training from her after classes. Inspired by Yatsu Murasaki, she began wielding a battle axe; its destructive power pairs well with her ability to manipulate weight, though its bulk makes transport difficult. Her friends often say she'll make a great mother, and she sometimes dreams of being surrounded by many children, but she secretly longs more to become a wife than a mother.
