She is a young genius scientist working at the research lab of the US-Japan alliance. Having been taught mathematics by her late father, who was also a university professor, she blossomed her talent and entered university at a young age. Linoa thought that she might be able to describe the one truth from several formulas, and so she researched formulas and equations. The US-Japan alliance research lab, which had taken notice of Linoa's talent, made her an offer even while she was still in university. The project's content, which was to "recreate events that occurred at a certain moment in the past from the state of the universe at that moment," sparked her intellectual curiosity, and she joined the lab with the hope that she might be able to meet her late father again if she succeeded. However, the true purpose of the research lab was to operate the gate that connects the human world and the demon world. Linoa was forced to cooperate with the lab, as her mother was taken hostage. Over the years, the research made progress as Linoa deepened her understanding of demons, and she was able to recreate various events from the arrangement of the stars. The lab also applied this research to create a simple predictive robot called Laplace, which they claimed was a demon created by Laplace. They even exhibited it at a science exhibition in Japan. Asagi, who had been investigating the true nature of the research, viewed the robot as a threat and had Fuuma Kotaro sneak into the exhibition. There, Linoa was given her freedom, along with her mother, and was protected by the Taimanin.
