Fuuma Yukiharu is the daughter of a clan that was driven out of their village after losing a war against the Taimanin. Her parents, who possessed the ability to enchant anyone they made eye contact with, fled with her but were hunted down and killed by the Igawa clan, leaving her as the sole survivor. This traumatic event awakened her own ability, which is far stronger than her parents'. When the Taimanin came to exterminate her, she surpassed their expectations, charming them and forcing one to commit suicide before escaping. Since then, she has been hiding her true name and operating in the shadows as an information broker and assassin, known as Snow's Demon Courtesan. Her eye ability is constantly active, so she usually covers them with an eye mask. Around Christmas time, she was asked to deal with some demons who were stealing food, and she set out to capture and punish them.
