She is a demon from the Kamaitachi clan, who manipulates whirlwinds and wields a large scythe. She creates medicines and sells them to merchants in Yomiha, making a living. In the underground city, where conflicts never cease, the Kamaitachi clan's effective medicines have a great reputation. Karina is energetic, naive, and ignorant of the world, with a personality that dislikes conflict. Originally, her clan lived on the outskirts of the Demon Realm, but a few years ago, they were attacked by Nomads seeking demon biological samples. Karina's family was also about to be captured, but they were rescued by Taimanin who happened to be there. This experience made Karina admire the Taimanin, who overpower the strong and protect the weak, and she began to regard them as her goal. However, as a demon, it is not easy for her to blend into the human world, so she is saving money and studying human culture in Yomiha to obtain a fake identity. She has a certain amount of magical power and is skilled in handling scythes, but her kind heart makes her unsuited for battle. Nevertheless, she cannot ignore people in trouble and often gets involved in troubles in Yomiha, but her sincere attitude encourages many.
