General Halloween Rene is a prototype piloted robot weapon forged from an unknown precious metal. Its creator and pilot is Dr. Rene, hailed as the greatest genius in United States history. The weapon, built without budget limits, is equipped with Rene's own HW Drive (Halloween Drive). While repairing the unit, Rene also researched next-generation armaments, inventing a new material "HW Carbon" (named by Rene) that allowed stronger, lighter armor, and applying it to circuitry greatly boosted durability and mobility. A century-defining invention, Rene kept the technology secret from the U.S. higher-ups and unilaterally installed it in General Halloween. Infused with the new material and tech, the General's appearance became even more refined (by Rene's standards). However, the budget ballooned, prompting suspicious superiors to send inspectors. To throw them off, Rene staged a sudden Halloween event, inviting a crowd of outsiders and showcasing General Halloween as the centerpiece. "Since we're doing this, might as well let more people see it," Rene claimed, though the real aim was to gather kids and disrupt the inspection.
