She is a demon from the Kamaitachi clan, who manipulates whirlwinds and wields a large scythe. She creates medicines and sells them to merchants in Yomiha, making a living. In the underground city, where conflicts never cease, the Kamaitachi clan's effective medicines have a great reputation. Karina is energetic, naive, and ignorant of the world, with a personality that dislikes conflict. Originally, her clan lived on the outskirts of the Demon Realm, but a few years ago, they were attacked by Nomads seeking demon biological samples. Karina's family was also about to be captured, but they were rescued by Taimanin who happened to be there. This experience made Karina admire the Taimanin, who overpower the strong and protect the weak, and she began to regard them as her goal. However, as a demon, it is not easy for her to blend into the human world, so she is saving money and studying human culture in Yomiha to obtain a fake identity. Recently, she started working part-time as a nurse's assistant at a clinic. Although she is not good at operating the latest equipment and often makes mistakes, her sincere work attitude and bright personality have made her popular among her colleagues and patients, and she seems to be enjoying her daily life. She does not use her trademark scythe at work, so she keeps it at her home.
