She lives alone in a remote farmhouse deep within Gosha, enjoying a quiet life as a Taimanin. With no relatives, she is utterly solitary. A harsh mission in the past left her with a wounded leg and eye, forcing her into semi-retirement, though in her prime she was known as the "Explosive Fist Taimanin" and earned many accolades after the Fuuma clan rebellion by serving Gosha diligently. While she can wield a sword or kunai, she excels as an unarmed infighter, crushing enemies with directional explosions generated at the tips of her punches. Because her technique looks fiery and her temperament is as blunt as a split bamboo, people often mistake her for a fire-style ninja, but it is actually a wind-style ninjutsu that creates blasts by compressing and releasing air. Controlling it is difficult; she was injured when she hurled a reckless explosive punch at a powerful foe. Now she lives off the savings from her active days and insurance money from Gosha, growing rice and vegetables herself. She sometimes looks after the children of families who are away on missions, using their gratitude for occasional drinks. When a child asks for training she play-acts, though she's more of a feeling-type and not great at teaching. Still, she's so caring that kids beg to train with "big sis." Despite her injuries, she still possesses near-active-duty strength, maintains her training and Taimanin suit, and remains devoted to Gosha, ready to rush to its aid at any crisis. She never tells anyone, but she believes her lingering wounds stem from an incomplete resolve back then, and if a similar situation arose again she wouldn't mind going out in a spectacular explosion together with the enemy.
