She is a witch and a student at Gogyō Academy, an organization that trains onmyōji, serving as class committee chair. With a refined face and a model-like figure that's unusually striking for a Japanese person, a male classmate once said she looks like a best-selling figurine if she just stays silent. In fact, she's a returnee from abroad, a quarter-Japanese with a foreign grandmother, and her beautiful, deep-tanned skin is natural. Her ancestry also includes demon blood, giving her family a strong magical aptitude that Lily inherited more intensely than anyone else, so she's been expected to become a distinguished witch since childhood. She came to Japan to study under the famed "Witch of the Ocean," who happens to be her homeroom teacher, Morino Yuuko. Having been treated as a noble lady's daughter in her home country, she possesses an aristocratic demeanor that openly looks down on others as commoners. She's displeased that in Japan witches and magicians are lumped together with onmyōji, and she gets angry when called an onmyōji or magical girl.
