She is the heir of the prestigious Yubashiri archery family. Raised with bow training from childhood, her skill is already at master level. She can hit a target within visual range with almost 100 % accuracy, and by using wind-style ninjutsu she can cloak arrows in wind to manipulate the bow's trajectory and increase lethality. Because she was raised strictly, she can be a bit inflexible and doesn't get jokes. The Yubashiri family often deals with business owners, so Hayate is sometimes asked to help with various events. She has turned down invitations citing studies and training, but her parents told her to cooperate occasionally. Though she isn't eager, she thinks she can just do a quick greeting round and stay backstage, and heads to the car-race venue. When she arrives, a race-queen outfit matching her is prepared. She tries to refuse, but the guilt of past refusals weighs on her. Then, after being sniped with "The Yubashiri line's next generation has poor connections," she ends up saying "I'll see this through!" and accepts.
