Yatsu Murasaki is a Taimanin renowned as a cool beauty whose combat ability is said to rank just behind Asagi's. She hails from a junior ninja family serving the Igawa clan led by Asagi, and her brother is fellow Taimanin Yatsu Kuro. She also works as an instructor at the government-run Taimanin training school, Gosha Academy. Expected to become the next Taimanin commander after Asagi, she harbors feelings for Asagi that go beyond admiration, causing even the usually composed Asagi to make her flustered. Though hard to read, she is truly kind-hearted, loves cats, and worries that they're scared of her. She wields the supernatural ninjutsu 【Immortal Awakening】, allowing her body to regenerate unless both heart and brain are destroyed. Possessing top-tier Taimanin strength, she swings a massive axe with ease, so she's usually on combat missions, but her formidable physique also lets her fight hand-to-hand on infiltration jobs—though she isn't comfortable with covert work, especially situations that demand refined behavior.
