Hazumi Yokozono is a student Taimanin at Gosha Academy. Her hand-to-hand skills are below average, but she shines on missions with a powerful ninjutsu that can alter people's emotions. She's an indomitable, hot-blooded girl who never gives up, believing that sheer will and grit can get her through any disadvantageous situation. Despite that, she's academically excellent, especially knowledgeable about classical literature and history, and she once served on the library committee. When she first enrolled, her ninjutsu was weak, so she aimed to contribute more through mental-care than frontline combat. However, after an incident she awakened the ability to "reverse" emotions, and she's since been dispatched to dangerous missions and defeat-handling teams. The emotion-reversal technique is potent but temporary; to maintain its effect she must cast it continuously. Using the technique drains stamina, especially when targeting large groups or when opponents resist. With this power she's turned allies' fear and despair into resolve and shattered enemies' confidence and exhilaration, overturning countless setbacks. Its effect is purely mental, but mindset often decides victory or defeat on the battlefield. She always wears the white coat—a keepsake her beloved older brother used to wear—slung over her shoulder.
