She is a wandering demon-race swordswoman. Using powerful telekinetic magic, she manipulates multiple swords levitating in the air like a sword dancer. She only draws her blades when her own safety is threatened and never boasts about her strength… that's the intention, but in reality she harbors deep distrust of humans and demons alike, and will instinctively slash anyone who gets too close without caution. Even non-humanoid beings—drones, demonic beasts, harmless pets—are all on high alert if they show any sign of agency. This extreme wariness stems from the trauma of being deceived and captured by demon-realm aristocrats, then subjected to countless "experiments" that were little more than show-piece tortures. Originally a demon-realm knight who upheld her own code of honor and justice, she still clings to that goodness despite her trauma. Coolidge refuses to accept her current self and strives to overcome her past, working as a mercenary, visiting social venues, and trying hard to interact with people. Yet she often fails to keep her trauma in check, becoming erratic and worsening her emotional wounds. When she reaches her breaking point, she erupts like a hedgehog of swords, running wildly in a disastrous frenzy. Conversely, whenever she manages to push past fear and mistrust, it's as if a switch flips and she regains her former bravery. Recently, a sword-apprentice she once mentored grew up and sent a letter saying she'd soon lay down her blade to marry. Coolidge set out to the demon realm to wish her well, only to learn that someone opposed to the bride's retirement was plotting to assassinate the groom at the ceremony. Overcoming her trauma, she attended the wedding, at times posing as a substitute bride or a dancing entertainer, confusing the enemies and thwarting the conspiracy.
