Minakami Chika is a student Taimanin attending Gosha Academy. She wields wind-style ninjutsu, but instead of summoning gusts she generates air from her own body and manipulates its composition. Though initially thought to have little direct combat use, she can alter the oxygen concentration of the air she breathes to train under high load, recover quickly, and temporarily boost her physical power in battle. She can pair with fire-style users to increase firepower or with earth-style users to burrow underground, giving her a wide range of combat options. Because of this versatile style she has many friends and acquaintances and is highly regarded by her comrades. Her small stature and childlike face often surprise newcomers; she's conscious of her looks and won't tolerate being treated like a child, sometimes adopting a haughty, confident attitude that makes others mistake her for merely spoiled. Though she may seem immature, she switches gears easily and handles missions with surprising calm, and she's adept at seeing people's true nature and thoughts. She has a child's palate and is drawn to cute foods. She can stay submerged for long periods without gear, so she often takes on water-side missions, but she actually isn't a strong swimmer. She therefore tackles such tasks fully equipped with a float ring and underwater goggles, looking like a sun-kissed beachgoer.
