Shijima Mugi is a Taimanin who has long idolized heroes and trained tirelessly, though she was told her abilities would never fully blossom. During a mission training exercise, her team was ambushed and a comrade was in danger. Despite sustaining serious injuries herself, Mugi amplified all her Taimanin particles and threw herself at the enemy in a self-sacrificial charge. The foes tried to crush her like a summer insect caught in flame, but the maximally heightened particles formed a protective garment around her, dramatically boosting her physical abilities. She swept the enemies away. Her ninjutsu, called "Taimanin Armor," transforms Taimanin particles into a suit that dramatically enhances attack, defense, and speed. This incident triggered her full emergence as a Taimanin. After graduating, she has been active across the land. However, her ability consumes massive energy and lasts only thirty minutes; without a break she cannot transform again. She is a hard worker who never skips training and frequently updates her skills with feedback from battles. As a result, she has received high praise from the upper echelons of the Gosha. Mugi believes that a hero's efforts and training are what make them attractive, so she spends her time trying to get closer to her ideal hero. In her private time, she immerses herself in special effects, anime, action movies, and other media to build her ideal image of a hero. This image training is very effective for her, as her ninjutsu relies heavily on her own imagination. When she wears her Taimanin Armor, which is closest to her ideal hero, her abilities increase dramatically, and her motivation soars. Recently, she has been fascinated with American heroes.
