Minami Iba is a student Taimanin who specializes in water-style missions, primarily at sea and ports. An outdoor enthusiast who loves the ocean, she can be a bit naggy but cares deeply for her juniors. She excels at stealth and disruption using her coat's water-style camouflage, mirages, and fog generation, and overwhelms foes in close combat with "Water Style: Sea Beast Fang," creating various seawater-born marine creatures. Her mimicry ability was inspired by an octopus she saw in the ocean, using water-style light refraction to dynamically alter her coat's pattern, texture, and temperature in real time. She wields a small chain-weight with an anchor, coating it in water to turn it into a larger weapon. This weapon's sea-linked shape is especially important to her when using "Water Style: Sea Beast Fang." While she generally gets along with other techniques, she's a bit uneasy around fire-style users, especially Sanada Homura, who's tangled with her several times. She loves the sea and ships but is terrified of airplanes, exclaiming, "There's no way a massive lump of iron can fly! Ships? Ships are fine, ships are fine."
