She is a wandering demon swordswoman, a descendant of a clan exiled to the frontier by power struggles. She inherited a cursed demon sword from her predecessor, who died in despair in a remote village, and now travels while working as a bodyguard and bounty hunter to make a name for herself. The nameless sword she wields can sap the spirit of anyone it cuts, but it also constantly drains its wielder's magical energy, leaving Argento perpetually hungry. Raised in a sparsely populated settlement, she speaks little and isn't good at expressing emotions. She's curious about urban culture and food and wants to interact with people, though she finds it hard to blend into crowds.
