Yuri Hisui is a Taimanin primarily assigned to frontline combat missions. Outside of missions she zones out and never stands out even during training. However, when battle begins she leverages the unique traits of her ninjutsu and fights with astonishing tenacity. Because of that gap and her poor social skills, she has no close friends and usually spends time alone. She isn't anti-social at all, though—she has a strong sense of camaraderie and shows no mercy to anyone who harms her comrades. She leads a very modest lifestyle with no particular hobbies, but she makes it a daily habit to play with the wild birds she feeds. After the last equipment upgrade, her mood inexplicably brightened, and she requested even newer gear. While everyone was surprised by her proactive attitude, new long-term mission equipment was approved. The Taimanin suit's look changed, and the tin staff weapon became modular. She wore a pleased expression at the new gear, though she showed a slight hint of displeasure when told the upcoming long-term mission was a test. Only those close to her would even notice the change.
