She was a woman who worked at an orphanage, helping children who had lost their parents in the civil war. Although she was not involved in the conflict, the orphanage was destroyed, and she was severely injured in the US military's indiscriminate attack. She was then taken in by the US military and subjected to cyborg experiments and weapons testing, resulting in her body being largely mechanized, except for her head and spine. Her brain was also partially mechanized, and she was manipulated into obeying the US military without question through the alteration of her memories and emotions. She was sent to Japan as a supposed ally against demons, with the true intention of collecting the genes of numerous Taimanin. Due to the manipulation of her memories and emotions, her maternal instincts were redirected towards the Taimanin, and she believes that collecting their genes is for their sake and for the sake of world peace. She has a gentle and kind demeanor, which has earned her the trust of the Taimanin, especially the younger ones, whom she often treats like children and asks to call her "Mama."
