Zoya Azef is a combat operative for the United States, primarily responsible for the northern and far-east regions. She boasts a high mission-completion rate, and it's said that no one can match her in extreme environments. Her specialized suit is designed for harsh conditions, secreting a unique fluid that protects her body from everything from sub-zero cold to raging fires. The fluid can be spread over the suit's surface to deflect attacks or coat wounds, and its uses are varied. The suit also contracts to provide powerful power-assist. During missions she remains cool and composed, prioritizing the objective above all else—even her own life. She also works hard to keep collateral damage near zero, maintaining almost no non-target injuries. As an operative she's regarded as nearly perfect, and even fellow agents regard her with awe for never flinching, no matter how grueling the task. In truth she has a gentle, playful personality, but she flies solo abroad and is known by few. Occasionally, when cooperating on joint operations, she throws jokes to aid communication, though her expression never changes, leaving partners to wonder if it's a code and become tense. Forcing a smile only produces a cold, murderous grin that only heightens fear. Rumors have grown that she's a terrifying presence beyond ordinary operatives' comprehension. Annoyed by these rumors, Zoya makes a point of smiling and cracking jokes on every joint mission, only feeding the legend further.
