Uehara Shikanosuke is a Taimanin student at Gosha Academy. He is the cousin of Uehara Rin, the famed "Electric-Shining Taimanin." He uses electric-style ninjutsu that manipulates the tiny currents within living beings, unlike thunder-based Lightning style; its power is comparable to static electricity. Because of this, he's often teased as being better suited for electrical work than combat, and he himself acknowledges that his ninjutsu isn't combat-oriented. Though small and not strong in battle, his sense of justice burns hot, and he's willing to sacrifice his life for it. After awakening the divine spirit Takemikazuchi within him, he can wield high-precision electric ninjutsu, and by using the awakened secret technique he can merge with Takemikazuchi, becoming a semi-electric being capable of various feats, though the technique leaves him heavily fatigued.
